THE THRONE

Yoshi, the long reigning ruler of the kingdom, has ruled the country with an iron fist. The people have had enough of Yoshi’s selfish ways. Decades of this authoritarian regime has caused extreme poverty, the collapse of the healthcare system and incessant riots mustering throughout the filthy streets. This brings us to the rebels, leaders from around the kingdom that have unified with the goal of taking back the throne.

Guided by the unmarked map of the kingdom, Yoshi and the Rebels fight for dominance. Yoshi, selected by chance, starts with the entire kingdom under control. Behind the scenes, rebels, each representing a unique community, are planning their first move. Not for long, players take turns to reclaim buildings and to bring it new meaning through dialogue. As the conflict establishes in the kingdom, a distinct story, only to the select group of players, begins to develop.
